Agent banking has become prevalent in Nigeria, addressing the accessibility gap left by banks and ATMs. With banks primarily located in commercial areas, agent bankers provide convenient services in residential areas, catering to small withdrawals. ATMs are unreliable due to power and network issues, whereas agents ensure reliable cash access.

In the previous app version, key features were missing. Our approach prioritized addressing product issues before visual design. We conducted testing using the old design to focus on functionality and usability problem-solving. Once resolved, we proceeded with visual design enhancements.

New stakeholders promote decentralization and division of labour, reducing clutter and enhancing efficiency. A larger workforce dedicated to specific tasks speeds up issue resolution, problem-solving, and operations.
Introducing Marketers
Marketers recruit new agents to minimize activity and acquisition costs. They engage potential agents, guide onboarding, and share service knowledge, expanding the network by effectively communicating benefits, simplifying recruitment, and saving time and resources.
Introducing Sub-Agents
Sub-agents facilitate ATM transactions as intermediaries, reducing reliance on banks and ATMs. They enhance efficiency, improve accessibility to financial services, and promptly resolve customer concerns for timely resolution.
Role Change for Agents
Agents become account managers for sub-agents, overseeing activities, providing cash services, resolving issues, and facilitating communication with banks. They ensure smooth operations, registration, and prompt issue resolution for sub-agents.
